This Privacy Policy explains how Vladimir Pogozhev (MindFlash Studio) (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information related to the HydraBalance mobile application (“the App”). Your personal data remains stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to share or back it up.
1. What data we collect
- On-device data: hydration logs, drinks, personal settings, reminders — stored locally on your device.
- Camera access (optional): used only for barcode scanning when adding custom drinks; no photos or videos are saved or transmitted.
- Approximate location / locale (optional): used to provide localized drink or product databases; precise GPS coordinates are not stored.
- Crash & analytics data (optional): anonymized diagnostics to improve app performance and stability (can be disabled in Settings).
- Advertising identifiers: if ads are displayed, the App may access your device’s advertising ID to support frequency capping, fraud prevention, and ad measurement.
2. How we use your data
- To enable app features (tracking, hydration goals, reminders).
- To personalize drink databases by language or region.
- To show and measure advertising where applicable.
- To improve performance and reliability through anonymized diagnostics.
3. Consent & choices (GDPR / EEA)
For users in the EEA and UK, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent for personalized or non‑personalized ads and analytics. You can review or change your choice at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy.
4. Third‑party services
HydraBalance may integrate with the following providers:
- Google AdMob — advertising and measurement.
- Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics — anonymized app diagnostics.
These providers process limited technical data according to their own privacy policies and only to the extent necessary for functionality.
6. Data retention
Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Any exported backups are governed by the retention policy of the destination you choose (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive, email).
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. As HydraBalance stores data locally, you can manage it directly in the App:
- Settings → Data Management → Clear Local Data
- Delete Entries from logs

We apply industry best practices to safeguard your information. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your device updated and protected (e.g., passcode or biometric lock).
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, shown in‑app.
